Welcome to Sunbird Resort

The Sunbird Golf Resort is a secured Gated Community that caters to Active Adults age 55+. This Retirement Community is part of the Robson Communities and is located in South Chandler, just minutes from the I-10 freeway and the 202 freeway, along a 5-mile strip of neighboring 55+ Active Adult Communities, including Sun Lakes, Springfield, Sunbird Golf Resort, and Solera. The many residents who prefer to live in the Sunbird Golf Resort are attracted to the 18-hole par 66 golf course that accommodates both men's and women's golf groups with discounted fees for golfing and in the pro shop. The golf course is semi-private as it offers memberships to its residents, as well as daily green fees, annual unlimited play passes, and punch-card multi-round passes to the general public. This is great for Sunbird residents who want to invite their family and friends to tee off with them on the golf course.

In addition to the 4,384-yard golf course, the Sunbird Master Planned Community offers residents the convenience of a post office right in the community, as well as a library full of books, a fitness center, game rooms, community pools, and spa, and a full-service restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. For those residents who are looking for outdoor sports activities, they can get involved in competitive games of tennis, pickle ball, shuffleboard, basketball, and a horseshoe pit. The 43,000 square foot Community Center offers a ballroom for dancing, ZUMBA classes, yoga, and Tai Chi. Want to put your creative mind to work? Then come to the Community Center to participate in a wide selection of arts and crafts, such as potter, sewing, and quilting. The Sunbird 55+ Retirement Community is close to restaurants, museums, theaters, casinos, and shopping at the Chandler Fashion Square Mall and the San Tan Village Mall. It is also a short distance to Gilbert and approximately 20-30 minutes from Mesa, Tempe, Phoenix, and Scottsdale.

Housing opportunities are prominent for both buyers and sellers in the Sunbird Golf Resort. The community offers a combination of single-family homes and mobile mobiles where home values hold their own but are less expensive than other nearby 55+ Active Adult Retirement Communities. With smaller lot sizes, 55+ Active Adults who want a 1 to 2-bedroom home that is low maintenance or snowbirds, and seasonal residents who want a vacation-style property with all of the amenities of a resort, this retirement community is ideal and affordable.
